Designed by By Hans J. Wegner. Hans J. Wegner’s beautiful and versatile CH88P dining chair expresses his often experimental and playful approach to working with different natural materials, as well as his unique palette of carefully-selected colours.

The CH88P dining chair is an example of Hans J. Wegner’s exploration of colors and materials. The elegant blend of crafted upholstery, wood and industrial steel, shows Wegner’s ability to soften minimalist forms. Wegner originally developed the CH88P as a prototype with coloured legs for the international Helsingborg Exhibition of 1955 in Sweden. In 2014, the chair went into full production with a colour palette inspired by Wegner. The CH88P dining chair’s clever construction is highly functional – it is stackable and perfect for saving space. The steel frame and wooden backrest and seat provide an appealing design and comfortable form. The CH88P has leather or textile upholstery seat options, adding even greater versatility and comfort. The frame is available in stainless steel, chrome and powder coating, and the CH88T model is available in beech, oak and smoked oak in a range of finishes.
