In 2009 Diesel (yes, the fashion world trend setter) and the design expert, Foscarini, teamed up to create an ironic, unconventional, fun and fiery line of lights. 

Diesel lights, like its clothing and accessories, bring a flare of rebellion and rock’n’roll life-style to any interior. The influence of robust industrial classics adds something timeless to their presence, while far from compromising the trend-creation image which characterises the Diesel brand.

 

One of their main star items – the Cage lamp – is a good example of the playfulness of the Diesel design. The lamp has a dual soul: the colour of the diffuser changes depending on whether the lamp is on or off. The pendant light’s irregular structure – a fine example of the craftsmanship of glass – contrasts nicely with its metallic grille, which furnishes it with an almost handmade feel. 

Cage light is inspired by mining lamps, yet it equally complements any kind of space, romantic or rough.
