06 Feb 20 years of E15 and Bigfoot™

2015 marks the 20^th year of quality contemporary furniture brand e15, and the anniversary of the company’s first product, the now iconic table BIGFOOT™.

Artist and illustrator Geoff McFetridge has created a limited edition BIGFOOT™ with laser etched figures covering the underside of the table. The table is seen as a modern design classic and encompasses the brand’s reputation of the pioneering use of solid wood in its purest form.
The creation of the Bigfoot™ in 1994, designed by e15’s founder and architect Philipp Mainzer, was heralded as a “radical new simplicity” which contributed to the evolution of contemporary furniture design.

20 years on, the iconic table looks just as contemporary as it did upon its launch alongside the recently launched This chairs.  It’s still a firm favourite here at Tangram and clear to see why it’s acclaimed as a modern design classic.
