Projects in Brief

In recent weeks Tangram have been busy as ever working with a wide variety of clients. We thought we’d keep you in the loop and give you a quick insight into some of the contemporary contract furniture projects we’ve been working on.

A particularly popular product of late has been the fabulous ‘Airflake’ acoustic panel from Abstracta.  With  acoustic properties and available in different colours and shapes, the composition possibilities are endless!  One client impressed by such was Standard Life who we fitted the panels for this month.

Design engineering company PDL Solutions who are based in Hexham wanted a boardroom table for their new office space. Being involved in all things design and technically minded,  they were appreciative of the quality of offering from German manufacturer Walter Knoll. The Keypiece table selected looks stunning in the space – a crisp white top with chamfered edge and shaped leg detail.  Elegantly simple.

Below we’ve given a manufacturer product image – project images coming soon…

Tangram supplied furniture for the City Art Centre Café back in 2001.  The client loved the Globus chairs from STUA that were originally supplied in 2001, so much so that they placed an entire new order to create a fresh and updated cafe setting.  This time, a polypropylene seat and back has been selected along with Marea tables also from Stua. A lovely refreshed environment (and amazing cakes!)

We have continued our work with the development at the lovely Quartermile and recently fitted out our latest show apartment. Using some stunning pieces from B&B Italia and the new Analog table and Drop chairs from Fritz Hansen (see below), this apartment is looking brilliant. The master bedroom is a particular favourite; the combination of a Husk Bed and side tables designed by Patricia Urquiola for B&B Italia and beautiful  Shibuya table lights from Zero work really well together.  These apartments at Quartermile are selling out fast and we can see why!

Pictures of this lovely project to follow very soon…
