Designed by Hans J. Wegner. Although the CH23 chair may appear uncomplicated at first glance, it incorporates many fine, sophisticated details, among them the elegant cruciform cover caps in the backrest, a unique hand-woven seat and backward arching rear legs that ensure optimal stability. Carl Hansen & Søn relaunched the CH23 in 2017, true to Wegner’s original working drawing, making the early masterpiece part of the collection once again.
