20 May Clean and Green

Catalan firm Mobles 114 used their stand at the Salone del Mobile in Milan this year to launch their “100% recycled and 100% recyclable” product, the aptly named Green chair.

 

Designed by Javier Mariscal, the man behind some of the most iconic designs of this generation and occasional film director – including last year’s acclaimed animated feature Chico & Rita – the Green chair project was born out of a desire to improve the quality of life and planet preservation by reducing the product’s carbon footprint and impact on the environment.

 

The chair is comprised of a recycled polypropylene seat and back while the base is made of optional wood or metal. Not only is the chair good for the environment but is available at an amazing price.
